He grad (uated) (from) U. of Ga., where he made and _______ record. Since his graduation he has lived at him home at Fort Lamar and was fast assuming leadership not only in his community but in the county. He was one of the county's leading educators, teaching at his home, and also member of the County Board of Educaiton. He was a member of the Liberty M.E. church and there the funeral services were conducted by his pastor Rev. A.M. Sparyberry, who gave a short talk, followed by many others who attested the esteem in which he was held by those who knew him best.
