M. Floyd, Danielsville, Ga; in the early evening of Jan. 15, 1938 the gentle spirit of Miss Louisa Thompson left her aged earthly body and passed through the gates to her eternal home. Aunt Lou, as she was called by those who knew her, was born in Madison County September 26th, 1840 and was the daughter of the late A. D. Thompson; also a niece of the late Dr. Berry M. Thompson noted physician of Madison County. She lived a true Christian life, uniting with the Presbyterian Church, Ila, Ga. in early years. Her life was an inspiration to those who cared for her in her last days for it was a life of peace, ptience and contentment, never saying a harmful word against a fellow man nor murmuring against the will of her Heavenly Father. Funeral services were held aat the home, conducted by the Pastor, Rev. Taffee. Following the service the body was laid to rest in the Echols family burial plot. The following nephews served as pall bearers: Messers Calvin and Jack Floyd, Roscoe, Roy, Arthur and George Floyd.
