In Memory of My Dear Son, John Vassar

Who passed away two years ago, March 6th.

It has seemed long
Since that beautiful day,
when a tired sweet life
Slipped gently away.

But even thought time
One could not erase,
The lasting memory
Of his dear face.

A life so unselfish,
So patient and kind,
Will live in our hearts
Forever enshrined.

Now two years have gone
Since he passed away;
And thus we pay tribute
To him on this day.
