Jerry Wheless, 79, of Hull, died Friday, July 21, 2006, at Thomson Manor 
Nursing Home.

Born in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Frances Gray. She 
was a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wheless 
was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Wheless.

Survivors include her son, Dean Wheless, Athens; daughters, Cindy Freeman, 
Watkinsville, Faye Mosley, Royston; sisters, Dorothy Tedford, Atlanta, Betty 
Tedford, Florida; brother, Carl Gray, Jr., Atlanta; three grandchildren, Jamie 
Spurlin, Matthew Spurlin and Jeanne Pentecost; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 23, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens. 
Burial was in Attica Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Thomson Manor Nursing Home.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
