Worth, Texas. Born on September 19, 1927, in Madison County, he was the son of Omie and Hugh White. He was a graduate of Ila High School, class of 1945. He established the Madison County Pantry to help feed less fortunate families at Christmas each year. He was a retired military man and mortgage investment worker and was a member of Masonic Lodge 1184 the Fort Worth Scottish Rite bodies, the York Rite, an endowed member of Moslah Shrine, a life member of Moslah Drum and Bugle Corps, Tin Can Sailors of Texas, Air Force Sergeants Association, American Legion 626, VFW Post 8235, and Lake Worth Boating and Ski Club. Mr. White was a veteran, having retired after 23 years of active duty in the United States Air Force. Survivors include his longtime companion, Kathy Reusch; sons and daughters-in- law, Richard E. and Nancy White, Fort Worth, Texas, Robert White Jr. and Theresa White, Augusta; grandchildren, Jeffery White and wife, Deanna, and Jennifer White; a sister, Eritha Cartledge, Hull. Memorial services were held Thursday, September 28, in the chapel of Biggers Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Biggers Funeral Home, Ft.
