James “Hassie” Whitehead, 51, of Hull, died Friday, July 29, 2005.

He was the son of Louise Cowart and James Elmer Whitehead.

Survivors include a son, Brady Whitehead, Athens; his parents; sister, Loretta 
Whitehead Roberts, Athens.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 31, in the chapel of Brown Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Burial was in the Hull Baptist 
Church Cemetery.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
