Resolutions of Jeffries Lodge No. 552 F. & A. M. 
On The Death of J. Ed Williams


WHEREAS:  The Great and Supreme Ruler of the Universe has in his infinite 
wisdom removed from among us one of our worthy and esteemed fellow laborers 
and brother, J. Ed. Williams, and whereas the long and ultimate relation held 
with him in the loyal member of our fraternity ____ it eminently befitting 
that we record our appreciation of him; therefore:

Be it resolved, that the wisdom and ___ ready hand which he has exercised in 
the aid of our fraternity by service, contributions, and counsel, will be ever 
held in grateful remembrance;

Be it resolved, That the sudden removal of such a life from among our midst 
leaves a vacancy and a shadow that will be deeply realized by the numbers and 
friends of our order and will prove a serious loss to his many friends and 
community.

Be it resolved, That with deepest sympathy with the bereaved relatives of our 
deceased brother we express the hope that even so great a loss to call may be 
over-ruled for good by ____ who doeth all things well;

Be it resolved, That a copy of ____ resolutions be spread upon records of 
Jeffries Lodge, a copy printed in the Comer News, and a copy forwarded to the 
bereaved family.
