Danielsville Monitor, 5 March 1943

MR. J. L. WOOD FUNERAL HELD ON SUNDAY

   Mr. J. L. Woods, well known resident of Danielsville, died at his home 
Friday night at ten o'clock after an illness of several months.
   Funeral services were held Sunday morning at 11 o'clock from Paoli 
Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. C. C. Carson, Presbyterian minister.  
Interment was in Paoli cemetery.  Bernstein Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
   Surviving Mr. Woods is a sister, Mrs. Pope Hitchcock of West Palm Beach, 
Fla.,; two brothers, W. H. Woods, East Point and K. B. Woods, Comer.
   A native of Madison County , Mr. Woods had resided there all his life.  A 
member of the Christian church., he had many friends throughout Madison County 
who will be saddened by his passing.
