Little Frances had been sick for several months, but about ten weeks ago she underwent an operation, which proved to be a failure. Kind and patient friends and physicians tried to help her, but all that was done seemed to be in vain. She was very Patient all through her illness, only calling "Mamma" or "Daddy" to wait upon her. There was never a brighter or happier looking child anywhere, was the pet of all who knew her. "Just to know her was to love her." On Saturday afternoon at "Old Fork Grave Yard", a few miles from Carlton, she was laid to rest under a bed of flowers, given by friends and loved ones to show the love for the little Angel. Left to mourn her loss are her dear parents and little sister, grandparents, and a number of friends and relatives. A Friend.
