Joseph B. Mack, Pastor of the Central Presbyterian Church of Athens, performed the double ring ceremony before an alter decorated with arrangements of white dahlias, gladioli and ferns interspersed with candelabra holding white tapers. A program of music was presented by Miss Lucille Sasser, pianist, and Mrs. James H. Booth, soprano. William R. Daniel, Jr. of Athens served as best man. The usher groomsmen were Albert W. Wier, Jr. William W. Wier, James H. Booth of Athens and Irwin G. Thomas of Summerville. The groom's sister, Miss Sue Wier, was maid of honor, and the matron of honor was Mrs. Robert L. Jackson, Jr. of Commerce. They wore identical gowns of soft pink taffeta with mittens of matching material. The bridesmaids were Miss Frances McWhirter of Atlanta, and Miss Latrelle Adair of Jacksonville, Florida. They wore gowns of blue taffeta made like those worn by the maid and matron of honor. The attendants carried nosegays of pastel garden flowers and word matching sprays in their hair. The bride's father gave her in marriage. Her gown was of white marquisette, and her fingertip veil of bridal illusion was fastened to a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of swainsona and white orchids. The bride's mother wore a gown of aqua net with a corsage of pink rosebuds. Mrs. Wier, the groom's mother, was dressed in rose crepe with a corsage of white carnations. following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Adair entertained at a reception at their home in honor of the bridal couple. The bride's book was kept by Mrs. James H. Booth. Assisting in entertaining were Mesdames Rm. M. Jetton, W. H. Strickland, W. N. Noell, W. C. Birchmore, Sr., H. M. Adair, Gerald Birchmore, Dupree Cox, Powers Lawson, J. C. Means, W. C. Birchmore, Jr. and Miss Dorothy Cox. For their wedding trip the bride chose a gold suit of imported gabardine with brown accessories. Her corsage was a bronze orchid. One of the most attractive parties honoring Miss Martha Adair of comer, and her fiancé, Thomas E. Wier of Athens, was the buffet supper at which Mrs. R. M. jetton of Comer was hostess to the bridal party immediately preceding the wedding rehearsal on Thursday evening. Mrs. Jetton, charmingly gowned in aqua and white crepe, met her guests at the door. She was assisted in entertaining by Misses Dorothy Cox and Sarah Frances Porterfield of Comer, and Mrs. Howard Chambers of Cornelia and Comer. The lace-covered dining table was centered with a lovely arrangement of Pink dahlias and slender green tapers. On either side of the centerpiece were crystal candlesticks holding pastel green, pink and cream candles. Pink and white cream mints and salted nuts completed the table setting. A delicious salad course with coffee was artistically served, followed by pink and white ice cream and individual iced cakes. Guests present besides the honorees were: Misses Sue Wier of Athens, Frances McWhirter of Atlanta; Latrelle Adair of Jacksonville, Florida and Mrs. Robert L. Jackson of Commerce; W. R.
