S. N. of Perry and Hanover, new Hampshire. Many officers and classmates of Ensign Lawson and their wives attended the two o'clock ceremony at the church on the campus of Dartmouth College. The Reverend Chester B. Fisk performed the impressive ring ceremony. Lieutenant Edgar M. Brannigan acted as best man. Ensign Clayton L. Wornson sang " I Love You Truly. " The wedding music was played by the church organist. The bride was lovely in a green pastel crepe, a small black hat with veil an black suede shoes completed her costume. Her corsage was of beautiful rosebuds. The church altar was decorated with greenery; seven branched candelabras and were alternated with basket of roses. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph S. Collier of Comer. Her sisters are Mrs. Troy Porterfield of Colbert, Mrs. Alton Hardy of Perry and Mrs. George Kelly, Jr. of Augusta. Mrs. Lawson received her degree from the University of Georgia in March 1942. Since that time she has been employed in War work at Savannah and Richmond Virginia. Ensign Lawson’s the son of the late Mrs. and Mrs. Hugh Lawson. Mrs. James Duggon of Perry and Mrs. W. W. Weddington of Paris, Tenn. are his sisters, and Mrs. Hugh Lawson is his only brother. Since graduating from the University of Georgia in 1941 the bridegroom has been engaged in war work in Savannah and Richmond, Va. He is now attending school at Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire. Immediately following the ceremony a reception for Ensign and Mrs. Lawson was held at the Hanover Inn.
