CROWE Mr. and Mrs. Clarence M. Fortson of Danielsville, Georgia, announce the marriage of their daughter Miss Lucille Fortson to Henry W. Crowe of Athens. The beloved couple traveled to Alabama where they were married on May 3, at 6:30 o'clock by Rev. H. L. Knighton. The bride is a graduate of the 1941 Class at Danielsville High School. She completed three years Nurse's training at Nashville General Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee and a six month' course in Public Health Nursing. She is connected with the Georgia Department of Public Health in Monroe County, Forsyth Georgia. Her mother is the former Miss Eula Bennett of Danielsville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. I. F. Crowe of Athens, his mother being the former Miss Sally Hughes of Blairsville, Georgia. He attended Athens High School and graduated in 1939. He served in the U. S. Naval Air Corps during the war for three and one half years, two of which were spent in the Pacific Area. He received his honorable discharge in December, 1945. The groom is now attending Mercer University. After a short honeymoon, the couple will reside in Forsyth. The bride will continue her work in Public Health and the groom will resume his studies at Mercer.
