Preceding the entrance of the bridal party, Miss Ruby Griffeth sang, "I Love You Truly." To the strains of Mendelsohn's wedding march played by Miss Ethel hancock, sister of the groom, entered Mr. Hope Griffeth and Elco Huff, ushers. Next came Mrs. Ada Wilson, amid of honor, dressed in a lovey frock of brown canton crepe, with trimmings of silver braid. She carriedd a bouquet of pink carnations. Bearing the ring on a satin pillow came little James Arthur Griffeth, wearing a suit of black with satin blouse. Lohengrin's march announced the coming of the bride and groom. The bride entered on the arm of her father, Mr. J.A. Griffeth, meeting the groom and his best man, Mr. W. F. Hardeman of Atlanta, at the altar. The bride was attired in a beautiful gown panne velvet with trimming of fur and accessories to match. She carried a bouquet of bride's roses showered with valley lillies. The impressive ring ceremony was performed by Rev. J.C. Langford before a lovely altar formed of masses of ferns, white carnations, and touches of valley lilies. The church was artistically decorated in white and pink carnations, and quantities of Southern smilax. Unshaded tapers, placed at intervals, completed the decorations. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Hancock left for their future home near Athens. Mrs. Hancock is a recent graduate of the Georgia State College for Women at Milledgeville and is one of Danielsville's most popular young women. Mr. Hancock is a graduate of Athens High School and a promising young business man.
