The ceremony was very quietly solemized at the home of the bride in presence of the immediate family and a few friends, the Rev. W.A. Wells officiating. The beautiful improvised altar of ferns and English dogwood was softly lighted by the white tapers in the candelabra placed on the lovely pedestals at either side of the alter. The mantle was banked with the dogwood lighted by the white tapers. The wedding music was played by Mr. Herbert Moon, "To a Wild Rose" being used before the ceremony and "Rustles of Spring" softly rendered during the ceremony. To the strains of Mendelsohn's wedding march the bride and groom entered together, the ring ceremony was very impressively used. The bride was very lovely in a beautiful 3 piece going away suit of midnight Poiret Twill with hat and necessories of grey, her corsage of pink rose buds completed her charming appearance. The bride one of Comer's most popular and lovely young ladies, will be greatly missed by her many friends being very prominent in the church and social activities of the town. Mr. Head is a young man of sterling character having been for several years an employee of the Standard Oil Co. Mr. and Mrs. Head left immediately after the ceremony going to their home in Atlanta.
