Danielsville Monitor,  22 Feb 1946
ROGERS - GORDON

   Mrs. Bethel G. Rogers announces the marriage of her daughter, Lois, of 
Danielsville and Athens, to Hal LeRoy Gordon of Madison County.  The ceremony 
was performed by Rev. J. B. Ward at the Methodist Parsonage in Danielsville, 
Monday Feb. 11, at 8:30 o'clock.
   The bride was lovely in a blue velvet dress witih black accessories.  Her 
flowers were split carnations and valley lilies.
   Mrs. Gordon graduated from High School in Danielsville and attended North 
Georgia College in Dahlonega.  She entered the nursing profession and for the 
past few years has been at St. Mary's hospital in Athens.
   Mr. Gordon has just been discharged with four years service in the Army for 
which two years was spent overseas.
   Mr. and Mrs. Gordon will reside in Athens, where the groom is in the 
insurance business.
