Danielsville Monitor, 22 February 1924
Mr. Joe Patten of this community and Miss Susie Sorrow of Patterson 
were married on the afternoon of Feb. 17th, Rev. Mann officiating.  Quite 
a number of young people enjoyed the hospitality of the groom's parents, 
Mr. and Mr. J.B. Patten, with supper immediately after the ceremony.  
This popular young couple have the good wishes of a host of friends for 
a happy and prosperous journey through life.
