Spence, of Macon, of the marriage of her daughter, Olivia Katherine, of Marietta, to William Thomas Cook, Jr., of Athens, the ceremony taking place on Sunday, July 14 at the First Methodist church in Marietta. The Rev. John B. Tate officiated, and the only attendants were Miss Elsie Cook, sister of the groom, and M. F. Parker of Atlanta. The bride is a graduate of Marietta High School and the Draughton School of Commerce, Atlanta. Prior to her marriage she was employed by Hansell, Ware & Brandon, Attorneys, Atlanta. The groom is the son of W. T. Cook, Sr. and the late Mrs. Cook. His mother was the former Miss Elizabeth Mae Evans, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Evans. He served forty-five months with the U. S. Navy and is now employed in the Field Service Branch of the Production and Marketing Adminstration in Athens. After a brief wedding trip, the couple will reside in Athens.
