I John R. Bond of said County and State - Being advanced in years - Do make Ordain and publish this as my last Will and Testament - Disposing of what worldly Estate it has pleased a kind Providence to bless me with - I resign my Soul into the hands of God, who gave it - 1st It is my will and desire that all of my just debts be paid as soon as possible by my Executor after my death - 2nd I give and bequeath to my son John H. Bond at my death the place he now lives on containing one hundred and fifty acres more or less - At one hundred & fifty dollars. 3rd I give and bequeath to my Son William H. Bond at my death the place he now lives on containing one hundred & forty acres of land more or less Valued at one hundred and fifty dollars - 4th I give and bequeath to my Son Joseph E Bond at my death Ninety five acres of land more or less adjoing the Shiloh Church lot and other land of my Estate. I also give and bequeath to my said son Joseph E. Bond at my death the place I now live on as a renumeration for taking care of me in my declining days, as it is my intention to keep my said son Joseph E. Bond with me during my lifetime, said place containing sixty or Seventy acres more or less - 5th I give and bequeath at my death to my Daughter Malinda H McEwen wife of Alexander McEwen Ninety five acres of land more or less. Free from the Control or debts of her said husband without her written consent for the purpose of selling the same, it being the place they now live on - 6th I give and bequeath at my death to my Daughter Emily E Saxton, wife of Miles Saxton Ninety five acres of land more or less, it being the place they now live on - Free from the Control or debts of her said husband without her written consent for the purpose of selling the Same 7th I have given my Daughter Eliza J Whitworth fifty dollars in cash here to fore. I give and bequeath to my said daugher Eliza J Whitworth at my the further Sum of One hundred dollars in cash. to be paid out of my Estate by my Executors for her own use and at her death to go to her children - 8th I have given my Daughter Isabel Fitts fifty dollars in cash, heretofore I give and bequeath to my said daughter Isabel Fitts after my death the further sum of One hundred dollars in Cash to be paid out of my Estate by my Executors after my death 9th I give and bequeath to my two Grandsons John R. Bond and James M. Bond Sons of my deceased Son Livingston Bond One hundred and fifty dollars to be equally divided between them to share and share alike (to wit) Seventy five dollars each - to be paid by my Executors after my death - 10th I give and bequeath to my four Grandchildren and Children of my deceased daughter Mary M. Guest (to wit Neely Guest, Fannie Guest, Olly Guest & John Guest) One hundred and fifty dollars out of my Estate after my death to share and share alike (to wit) Thirty seven dollars and fifty cents to each grandchild, said legacies to remain in the hands of my Executors and be paid out as my said Grandchildren shall become of twenty one years of age in case they are minors at my death. 11th I give and bequeath to my Deaf and Dumb Grand Son John F. Fitts Seventy five dollars at my death in consideration of his misfortune - 12th It is my Will and desire where I have given land to any of my children they receive it at the valuation places on by me, each legacy in land at one hundred and fifty dollars - 13th It is my Will and desire that after my death that what is known as my old place conataining one hundred and Thirty Three and one third acres more or less. And all other property of every kind real and personal not otherwise disposed of by this Will. Shall be sold to the highest bidder by my Executors at such time and place as they deem best for the interest of my Estate. And after paying all debts of my Estate and the legacies named in this Will the remainder to be equally divided among all of my children that my be in life to share and share and those that are dead or may be dead at my death Their children to receive their Father or Mothers part. 14th I hereby Constitute and appoint my two Sons John H. Bond and Joseph E. Bond my Executors to carry this Will into effect. This being the fifth page. Was Signed and published by John R. Bond as his last Will and Testament in our presence as witnesses, at his special instance and request, and we signed the same in the presence of the Testater, an in the presence of each other as Witnesses. Beard -------------------------------------------------- Georgia Madison County I Joseph P Looney do swear that I as well a N. W. Megarity and W. W. Beard saw the within named John R. Bond sign and publish the within paper as his last will and testament that I submitted the same as a witness thereto. At the special instance and request of the said John R. Bond and in his presence. as also did. N. W. Megarity and W. W. Beard. that the said John R. Bond signed the same freely and voluntarily and was at the time of such signing of sound and disposing mind and memory. Sworn to and subscribed J. P.
