Moon, Jacob D. Moon, Isaac M. Moon, James Phelps, John Phelps, James Dillard, Jesse M. Moon, Bird A. Moon, Patina (?) W. Moon and Lockey H. Moon are all held and firmly bound unto William H. Moon and William Parham temporary managers of the Estate of Bird Moon deceased in the sum of two thousand dollars for the __________payment of which we jointly and severally bind ourselves on ______ and given under our hands and seals this 13th November 1848. The ____of the above bound obligation is such that whereas the above bound obligation within the above named William W. Moon and William Parham and legatees of the estate of Bird Moon deceased and have mutually agreed to divide said estate except the tract of land whereon the widow now lives without the usual tedious _________ of administration. Now if the above bound obligators shall well and truly indemnify and render (?) harmless the ___ on William H Moon and William Parham for and on account of the sale and division of the estate of the said deceased and on account of paying over the sum to said legatees ____ or as soon as a sale and distribution thereof can be made amongst said legatees for and on account of all matters touching the same and shall well and truly perform, fulfill and keep the conditions of this obligation (?) being of this bound each bound (?) for himself ___and this obligation to be binding upon each of the above above obligators _____signs the same whether the same be signed by all the said legatees or not. then this obligation bound to be ____to remain in full force and virtue.
