Booth LDS Library, Film # 0351750 Will Records 1811-1922 Will Book B page 167 Madison County, Georgia I, Francis Power of the County of Madison & State of Georgia being in reasonable health & of sound mind & disposing memory do make constitute & ordain this my last will & testament...To Wit: Item 1st..It is my will that my Executrix & Exrs herein after named have my remains buried in a decent & Christian like manner. Item 2nd...It is my will that all my Just debts be paid by my Executrix & Exers by selling property if necessary either privately or publicly as they may think best without obtaining the usual order in such cases. Item 3rd.. It is my will & desire that my beloved wife Sarah M. Power Keep all my property together after my just debts are paid for the raising & the education of my children & the support during her life & widowhood. Item 4th.. In the event that my wife Sarah M. Power should marry again it is my will that all my estate be sold & equally divided between her & my children share & share alike she having only a child’s part of my estate. Item 5th... It is my will & desire that as my children become of age or marry that my wife give off to them such property at valuation as she may think she can spare without impuning herself or the remaining children. Item 6th..If my wife Sarah M. Power should not marry again it is my will that all my estate be sold or divided as circumstances may authorize after her death so divided among my children as to make all their shares equal one with another. Item 7... I hereby nominate & appoint my beloved wife Sarah M. Power my executrix & my friend Charles C. Graham & my son James Power my executors to call this my last will into effect.
