Item 1st..I wish my executor as soon as practical after my death to pay all my debts, the principal part of said debts, being a note due Steven Martin & Co and accounts due Dr Griffeth and Dr Deadwyler and I hereby authorize my executor to sell at public or private sale any part or all of my real or personal property, said property consisting of 48 acres land on waters of Fork Creek and one mule and cow. Item 2nd..I give and bequeath jointly to my husband Steve Power and youngest daughter Johnie Davenporte, my Insurance Policy, which should be worth at my death $200.00 less the proportional cost of my burial expenses and administration expenses. Item 3rd..I give my household goods and kitchen furniture to my daughter Johnie Davenport. Item 4th.. I give and bequeath to my daughters, Lilla Davenporte Thornton, Lizzie Davenporte Alexander, Bessie Davenporte Power, and Johnie Davenporte, a one fourth interest, share and share alive of all net proceeds from all balance of my property, not mentioned above, after all debts and necessary expenses have been paid. Item 5th..I hereby appoint Mr. A. P. Stevens as executor of this may will and in case if for any reason he cannot serve then the Ordinary may appoint an administrator.
