D. Power of said State and County of Sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament. Item 1st...I will and devise that my beloved wife Mary E. Power have and keep all of my entire Estate both real and personal property in her own hand and control to sell and trade any surplus the same as I have done during my life during her life or widowhood. Item 2nd... I will and desire that if my Beloved wife, Mary E. Power should marry then for her to have three hundred acres of Land so as to include my dwelling house and improvements during her life and after her death be equally divided between my heirs. I also will and desire if my wife Mary E. Power Should marry for her to have five hundred Dollars in money or property for her to dispose of as she see proper Item 3rd.....I will and desire that my unmarried children be made equal as they marry or become twenty one years of age which (?) my two daughters that is (sic) already married. item 4th.. I will and desire that my wife Mary E. Power give to my eight children five hundred dollars in money to each child as they become twenty one years of age and if my wife Mary E. Power should fail to have the said sums of five hundred dollars on hand as any of my children becomes twenty one years of age then she is required to give them a due note against may Estate for the said sum Item 4th..sic.... I will and desire that after the death of my wife Mary E. Power or marriage that all of my entire Land be laid off in Eight Lots that if my wife Mary E. Power should die my widow and a proper valued by appraisers made on each lot and each Lot be numbered so as each one of my eight children will get a Lot of Land commencing at the oldest in rotation to the youngest sharing and my wife Mary E. Power should marry then the remainder of my lands outside of what I have give her be _________ off to my eight children as in aforesaid. I bequeath the aforesaid land to my eight children for their own proper use and benefit and as the lots of Land may differ in value I will and desire that each one be made equal in money out of my Estate so as eight share and share alike. Item 5th.... I will and desire that all of my property not disposed of in this will be equally divided between my eight children after the death of my wife or marriage all to share and share alike. Item 6th.. I will and desire that my three youngest children Namely Charley, Clara and Allen be sent to school and educated out of my estate. Item 7th... I will and desire that my Exutrix (sic) or Executor be dispensed (?) of making any regular yearly inventory or returns of the transaction of my Estate until the final division of my entire Estate. Item 8th...I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife Mary E. Power my Executrix and my friend S. P. Power my Executor of this my last will and Testament.
