Item 1: I wish my executor as soon as posible after my death to pay my debts. If a sale of property shall be necessary, I wish him to select that which can be most advantageously used for that prupose and to authorize him to sell the same at public or private sale as he may see fit. Iten 2: I give devise and bequeath all the balance of my estate both real and personal to my sons: John T. Adams, Jesse W. Adams and Ernie Killer Adams, my daughter Sarah Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, Martha Liva Mandy Adams, Kizi Catherine Burroughs and Susan Parlee Thomas and their heirs, my grandsons John Freeman and James Freeman sons of my daughter Mary Lucinda Freeman, my grandsons William Seagraves and Emeriah Seagraves, sons of my daughter Louisa Seagraves anfd my great grandson William Siborn Epps, the grandson of said daughter Louisa Seagraves. It is my will that my grandsons James Freeman and John Freeman shall share equally in this division and that my grandsons James Freeman and John Freeman shall share as legalee to be equally divided between the two and that my grandsons William Seagraves and Emeriah Seagraves and my great gandson William Siborn Epps shall share as one legalee to be equally divided between them. Item 3: It is my will that my landed estate consisting of 88 acres, more or less shall be divided into nine lots and appraised and that my leagalees as aforesaid shall draw for some and that the lots so drawn shall be taken at the appraisment. Item 4: It is my will that my legalees shall sell among themselves whatever personal property after paying debts and may have at the time of my death and equally divide the proceeds. Item 5: I do hereby appoint my son John T. Adams executor of this my will. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 8th day of May 1900. Signed and published by John Adams as his last will and testament in the presence of the undersigned who subscribe our names hereto as witnesses at the instance and request of said testator and in his presence and in the presence of each orther this 8th day of May 1900.
