First., my soul to go to almigty god, and my body to be decently buried. I do leave my daughter Susannah our bed bedstead and furniture, one side saddle, one flour wheel, and one cotton wheel, one cow and two hogs, one small pot, two skillets and one brass coffee pot, one large pewter basin and six pewter plates, then all the balance of my property to be sold as my execuitors may think best, then my just debts all to be paid. Then the money arising from the sale to be equally divided amongst all my children. My daughter Susanah having an equal share of the money( blank space)and I wish my business transacted and recorded in Cumming Forsyth County and I wish Ezekiel Thomas , and my son-in-law William M. Otwell to be my executors, in witness wereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of July Eighteen hundred and forty Seven as signed in presence of Thomas Horton, Ezekiel Thomas his Julius C. Otwell one of the Executors in and by said will named and appointed and he having taken the oath and performed all other Requisites Required by law, he is by order of said court, and by Virtue of these presents legally Authorised to Administer the good, chattels, right, credits, and lands of said deceased, according to the tenor and affect of said will and testament and according to law, and he is hereby required to Render a true and perfect Inventory, and appraisement of all and Singular the goods, chattels, rights, credits and lands of the said deceased and make returns thereof to the Court, according to law, and to render a true and correct account to the said Trust of the actings and doins yearly until his Adminstration is fully completed.
