Winfrey Drane married 16 Jun 1859 Marion Co. Ga. Mary Eugenia Nesbitt Brown born 17 Aug 1839 Crawford Co. Ga. died 8 Aug 1922 Ga. He was born Columbia Co. Ga. died Friendship, Sumter, Ga. Both buried City Cemetery, Buena Vista, Marion, Ga. He was the child of William P. Drane and Martha Hughes Winfrey. She was the child of Wm. M. Brown and Amanda Gray. Children: Dr. W. Albert G 22 Oct 1860 William Winfrey 1863 Minnie 1865 Eugene 16 Jul 1871 Walter 7 Dec 1874 Bertha Aft 1870 Albert married Hettie McKennie born 14 Sep 1856 Va and moved to Washington D.C. where his Uncle Jack Brown was between the 1880 Census-where he was home and 1900 in Washington. Will Jr was later in Americus where his Uncle George Brown was city clerk. Minnie married 19 Jan 1887 Marion Co Ga. R A Oliphant Eugene died 16 Nov 1921 and is buried in the City Cemetery, Marion, Ga. Walter died Jul. 1932 Columbus, Muscoogee, Ga. and is buried at the Methodist Cemetery, Marion, Ga. He died in the Doctor's office leaving wife and dtr. Eugenia. Bertha married J J Dunham and moved to Washington D.C. She had a son Eugene Drane Dunham. Captian W. W. Drane Company H of the 59th Georgia Regiment of Infantry, organized May 6, 1862. 1862- Drane, William W.-Private May 6, 1862. Elected Captain of Co H June 16 1862. Resigned, having been elected Judge Inferior Court in Marion Co Ga Feb 1865. Proof of death here---Died there Feb 1910. He faught at Gettisburg, the Wilderness, Spottsylvania court-house, Cold Harbor and Petersburg.
