Wallace Willis Jacob Woodall (Brother to John Abner Woodall) Jacob Woodall (1833–1862) was the son of Clement Alvis Woodall and his wife Sarah Mercer (Sallie Messer) Woodall. On 7 December 1855 in Marion County, he married Elizabeth Melvina Lightner, daughter of John Thomas and Caroline Harrington Lightner. During the Civil War he served in Co. A 27 Georgia Infantry. He died 25 July 1862 and is buried in the Confederate Cemetery in Dansville, Virginia. Elizabeth Melvina was born 9 January 1837 in Marion County and died 6 January 1925 in Schley County. She was a longtime and faithful member of Phillippi Primitive Baptist Church and was buried there. Jacob and Melvina Woodall were parents of: James W. Woodall (1856-1892) Mary Ella Woodall. She was born September 1859. On 5 December 1878 in Schley County she married Samuel Asa Patton. He was born 14 July 1855 and died 4 December 1880. He is buried in the Murray-Patton Cemetery in Schley County. Mary Ella Woodall Patton married second Arthur Hill on 2 September 1925. He was born 19 March 1860 and died 17 July 1939. He is buried at Ellaville. Mary Ella died 10 March 1932 and is buried at Ellaville. Julia Lou Woodall. She was born 10 May 1861. On 21 November 1878 in Schley County she married Kenneth Stewart. He was born 26 December 1849. They moved to Worth County where Julie died 16 November 1929, and Kenneth died 31 December 1939. They are buried at Poulan, Georgia.
