Wallace Willis James Woodall (Cousin to Jacob and John Abner Woodall) James Woodall was born 1777 in Buckingham County, Virginia. He was a cousin of the James Woodall born 1765 in Goochland County, Virginia, who was the father of early Marion County settler Clement Woodall. The subject James Woodall married 13 May 1801 in Greene County, Georgia, Rebecca Watson. He died 1844 in Marion Co. James and Rebecca Watson Woodall were the parents of eight children: Catherine Ann Woodall m. James Spurlock, son of William and Jane Spurlock John P. Woodall m. Nancy Hardage, daughter of Adam and Mariah Hardage Martha Jane Woodall m. William Hardage, son of Adam and Mariah Hardage Henry T. Woodall m. Mary Elizabeth Verdin Thomas R.
