Wallace Willis John Abner Woodall (Brother to Jacob) John Abner Woodall was born 15 May 1830 in Houston County, Georgia. He was the son of Clement and Sarah Woodall, early settlers of Marion Co. On 16 December 1856 in Marion County, he married Mary Jane Chapman, daughter of Ambrose and Elizabeth Chapman. The Chapman family was another pioneer family of this area. Mary Jane was born 10 May 1840 in Marion County. During the Civil War, John Abner served with Co. B, 46 Georgia Infantry. He died 6 October 1917 in Taylor County and was buried at Mt. Nebo Cemetery as was Mary Jane when she died on 26 April 1927. Children: William Abner Woodall married Elizabeth Vashti (Mittie) Montgomery, daughter of Seborn and Josephine Hayes Montgomery Georgia Virginia Woodall m. James Thomas Garrett, son of John Israel and Grace Stephens Garrett John B. Woodall married Nina Montgomery, daughter of Seborn and Josephine Hayes Montgomery Lala Woodall married Henry Jasper Garrett, son of John Israel and Grace Stephens Garrett Laban died as a young child Carrie Woodall married Charles Hardison James W.
