buried in Buena Vista Baptist Cemetery on Church Street,
married Attalissa Sparks, b. 17 Jun. 1810 - d. 29 Jun.
1873, on 19 Jan. 1929*.  Their Ch: 

I. Angelina Isabel Stevens, b. 2 Nov. 1829, d. ?, married
W.P. Hatchett on 27 Mar. 1850 II. Jasper Hampton Stevens,
b. 7 Jun. 1831, d. ?, married Milton B. Roberts 11 Dec.

Addie Baker 17 Oct. 1875.  They were the parents of Edwin
(Ed) Stevens who founded Stevens Industries of Dawson and
Cinderilla Peanut Butter.  Their other children were Nep,
Baker, Carl, Frank and Rabun. 


*Transcriber Note: The year given in this article in 1929
and this has to be incorrect.  I'm not a researcher of
this family and do not have the correct year for this
marriage. **Transcriber Note: Child II and Child III are
listed with the same spouse and marriage date.  This must
be a typing error and  I don't have any information for
the marriages.
