Parmer (Palmer) Cemetery Attaway and Faircloth property, North 41 Located on 2nd dirt road on left up 41 N. from Oakland IGA 6/10 mile of 41 Joshua Palmer was the Patriarch of Parmer family in Marion County and we believe this Cemetery's name was connected to him. The spelling of the name through out the 19th century was consistently Parmer. Some of the family changed the name to Palmer after the 1930s. Most people seem to be related in some way to the Palmer or related families.
