Witnesseth that the said Thomas Burge for and in consideration of the sum of $100 to him in hand paid by the said Willis Jinks at and before the sealing and delivery of these present the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained, sold and conveyed & do by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey until him the said Willis Jinks, his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the 12th District originally Muscogee now Marion County and distinguised by No 151 one hundred & fifty one to have an to hold said tract or parcel of land with all the rights members and appurtenances thereof to his own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said Thoms Burge for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Willis Jinks his heirs, executors, and administrators will warrant and defend the right and title and interest thereof against the slaim of all other persons whatsoever. In witness thereof the said Thomas Burge hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal, the day and date above written, signed, sealed and delivered in presence of: Thos Burge (Seal) E. McDuffie, Clerk NOTE: Thos Burge is a Justice of Peace in Marion County NOTE: This land lot was drawn in the Land Lottry by David Stickland while living in Decatur Co, granted to him Dec.12 1836 It is said that the original log cabin of Willis Jinks was built on this section of land. He purchased over the years, the surrounding land lots. Feb 5, 1885, this land lot was deeded to Mary A. Jinks
