MARION COUNTY DEED BOOK C PAGE 60

Georgia, Marion County
This indenture made the 27th day of January in the year of our Lord eighteen 
hundred and fifty-one between R.R.Respass of the county and state aforesaid of 
the one part and Meredith Duke of the same place of the other part - witnesseth 
that the said R.R.Respass for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred 
and fifty dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of 
these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted 
bargained sold and conveyed and doth by these presents grant bargain sell and 
convery unto the said Meredith Duke one half of the undivided lot or parcel of 
land number seventy-four in the third district of originally Muscogee now 
Marion County - to have and to hold said parcel of land unto him the said 
Meredith Duke his heirs executors administrators and assigns together with all 
the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging to his and their own 
proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said R.R.Respass 
for himself his heirs executors administrators and assigns will warrant and 
forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the 
claim of all other persons whatever - In testimony whereof the said R.R.Respass 
hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above 
written.
