Ruffin to James W. Black - (Widow McCurdy borders) Marion County State of Georgia Bk H. p. 342 This indenture made this nineteenth day of February A.D. 1850 between JAMES J. RUFFIN of the County and State aforesaid of the one part and JAMES W. BLACK of Newton County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said JAMES J. RUFFIN for and in consideration of ($225) Two hundred and twenty five dollards to him in hand paid by the said JAMES W. BLACK at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents whereof the receipt is hereby acknowledged hath graanted and sold and by these present granst, bargains and sells and conveys unto the said JAMES W. BLACK, his heirs and assigns a certain tract of land situated lying and bing in the 3RD SECTION CHEROKEE at the time of surveying but now MURRAY COUNTY containing 160 one hundred sixty acres more or less and distingushed in the plat by Number 211 two hundred eleven in the twelfth 12th district lying on the waters of Coachulla and Mill Creeks joining the Widow McCurdy (which said lot I drew as an orphan of Upson County. To have and to hold the above described lot of land unto him the said JAMES W. BLACK his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging to their own proper use benefit and behhoof forever in fee simple and the said JAMES J RUFFIN for myself, my heris executed and administrators do relinguis all right and title to the above described premises unto him the said JAMES W.
