State of Georgia, Marion County:
This indenture made the Eleventh day of March in the year of our Lord, one
Thousand nine hundred and one between Mrs. Martha Short of the state of Georgia
and county of Marion of the one part and Mrs. Louise Wall of the State of
Georgia and County of Marion of the other Part.  Witnesseth That the said Mrs.
Martha Short for an in consideration of the sum of Two hundred dollars to her in
hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents (the receipt
of whereof is hereby acknowledged) hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed
and doth by here presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Mrs.
Louise Wall her heirs and assigns the following described property sixty six +
1/3 acres of land off of lot of land number two hundred thirty-six (236) in teh
fifth district of Marion County Georgia bounded as follows on the west by lands
of Mrs. Bartlett, on the east by lands of J. H. Story Sr, on the south by lands
of Mrs. Martha Short, on the north by lands of Mrs. Martha Short.  To have and
to hold the said bargained premises unto her the said Mrs. Louise Wall heirs and
assigns together with all and singular the rights, members and appertenances
hereof to the same in any manner belonging to her, and her own proper use
benefit and behoof in fee simple and the same Mrs. Martha Short for her heirs
executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the same Mrs.
Louise Wall heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and
title thereof against her and against the claims of her heirs executors
administrators and assigns and against the claims of all other persons
whatsoever.  In testimony whereof the said Mrs. Martha Short hath hereunto set
her hand and affixed her seal the day and year first above written.  Mrs. Martha

Book S, page 67-68, Marion County Deeds.  Mrs. Martha Short is Martha Melton,
daughter of Matthew and Nancy Melton, who married James E. Short 25 Nov 1852
Marion Co GA.  She was born 8 July 1830, died 1908 Marion Co GA, buried at Union
Baptist Church Cemetery.  Louise Wall is the daughter of James E. Short and
Martha Melton, she married John Wall 12 Jan 1882, Marion Co GA.  Louise was born
8 Dec 1862-3 Marion Co GA, died 14 Nov 1928 Marion Co GA.
