"A Brutal Deed, An Old Man Murdered in Marion County"
Columbus, Ga, April 18 - A Special to the Enquirer-Sun gives the particulars of
the assassination on Sunday night of Mitson Melton, aged seventy five years, at
his home in Marion County, Ga.  A young man named G. P. Jones has been arrested
on suspicion.  The cause of the murder is unknown.
