Gordon Lowe Card of Thanks We wish to express our sincere thanks to the good people of Buena Vista, our neighbors and friends, for the sympathy and kindness shown us in our affliction, during the sickness and death of our wife and mother. W.A. Guthrie and daughter. Nuptials A pretty home wedding took place Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the residence of Mr. E. R. Jernigan two miles north-east of town. The contracting parties were Mr. R. H. McDaniel and Miss F. L. Jernigan, daughter of Mr. Jernigan. The ceremony was performed by Rev. LeRoy Hirshburg, in the presence of neighbors and friends besides the home circle, and after congratulations all repaired to the dining room, where was prepared a sumptuous feast of which every one enjoyed. It was the anniversary of the birth of Mr. Jernigan, now 57 years of age, and also the 55th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Willis Wiggins of Doyle, who with his family were among the welcome guests.
