McMichael most delightfully entertained the B.B. S. club Saturday afternoon. After an hours sewing and conversation a delicious course of cake and pickles were served. Miss Ethel Chapman, who is taking music at Chase’s Conservatory, spent Monday in Columbus. Mr. Young Hogge, of Douglas, spent Sunday here with home folks. Mesdames J.L. Morris and E.L. Duke were the guests of Mrs. S.D. Mackey Sunday. Mr. Frank Hogge, who enlisted with the U.S. Army in 1911 at Fort Howard, Md., is here on a two months furlough to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.T. Hogge. Mr. M.W. Fouche was shopping in Buena Vista Monday. Mr. S.L. Fleming is visiting his daughter in Atlanta this week. Several of our people attended quarterly meeting at Union Saturday. Miss Ella Bess McMichael has returned from a visit to Macon and Montezuma. Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Smith, of Solomon Temple, were the guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.T. Hogge.
