South Carolinians Coming to Marion County

Mr. M.G. Bowie, of Anderson, S.C., a pleasant gentlemen who has been looking at 
the farm lands in Marion County for several days, has purchased two tracks of 
land.  He purchased 265 acres from Mr. E.B. Clements for $4,500, and the fine 
475 acre farm of Mr. J.W. Moore, for $8,000, and 150 acres from Chas. W. Lowe.

The farm lands in Marion County are inviting, and the price of land will surely 
draw prospective purchasers.  We have an abundance and are glad to welcome 
citizens.

Marion County furnishes good homes, among good people, and a fine climate to 
hundreds of good families. – Marion County Patriot
