Gin House Burned

The gin house of Rev. W.B. Merrett, who lives near Draneville, was destroyed by 
fire on Thursday the 4th inst.  The house contained about one bale of cotton in 
the seed, which was lost.  The total loss of the house and contents is 
estimated at between $700 or $800.  The origin of the fire is not know.
