January 28, 1887

Mr. Malcom Hair dreamed the other night that burglars were breaking in his 
store.  He got up, armed himself with a shotgun and with his son John, came 
down town.  As they turned Jones’ corner, which is on a direct line with the 
front of the store, the burglars turned a bull’s eye lantern on them, and it is 
difficult to say which were the most frightened – the Messrs. Hair of the 
burglars.
