An Enjoyable Party

The Misses Lowe gave a party at the Buena Vista house Tuesday night in honor of 
Miss Mittie Morton, of Lumpkin, Miss Mattie Brewer of Stewart County, Miss 
Helen Reid, of Atlanta and Miss Lucy Mitchell of Pensacola, Fla., which was a 
delightfully pleasant affair.  All the young people in town, with but one or 
two exceptions were present and made the evening pass pleasantly for the 
visitors, all of whom but one left for their homes the following morning.  At 
ten o’clock refreshments were served in the way of ice cream, cake and fruits.  
There has not been a nicer party in Buena Vista this season, and the fact that 
the young people did not break up until 1 o’clock showed that they enjoyed the 
evening.
