Mr. W.I. Shearer, one of our best citizens, has sold his lands near here to 
Messrs. Wm. Hairbuck and Lee Hillman, and on Wednesday the 12th inst., sold his 
perishable property.  He will go to some point in Alabama and try the 
mercantile business.
