A large crowd from Buena Vista went down to Wigginsville Sunday to witness the 
dedicatory services of Shady Grove church, and Rev. Bascom Anthony preached a 
powerful and appropriate sermon on that occasion.  Nearly or quite five hundred 
people were present, the house being full and the aisles even packed as long as 
one could get in.  The people of that section deserve great credit in the 
erection of such a nice church building.  It will seat about 400 people, is 
nicely ceiled with beaded ceiling and has two good stoves to keep the building 
comfortable in cold weather.
