Local Paragraphs

Tom Harris, colored, of Terrell County, was in town Saturday and renewed his 
subscription to the Patriot.  Tom is another colored man who is doing well by 
working hard and paying strict attention to his own business.  He owns several 
hundred acres of land in Terrell County and conducts a five horse farm.  He 
also owns a farm in this county and was here Saturday to give in his taxes.  He 
is doing well by making everything he lives on at home and his cotton is 
surplus.
