Local and Personal

Mr. H.B. Mauk has had a large bathing pool built near his home.  The pool is 20 
by 40 feet, with dressing rooms, a pavillon and everything necessary for the 
comfort and convenience of the bathers.  A small charge will be made for the 
privilege of bathing and bath suits.  The building will soon be complete and be 
thrown open to the public as soon as the weather is warm enough to make it 
pleasant.

NOTE:
I believe that this is Hiram Bertus MAUK, son of
Samuel J. and Laura M. WALL MAUK.  I have his birth
as Jan 1872 Marion Co., GA but have no death date.
It's my understand that he married Lula Buchanan and
had two sons, Walter R. and Charles D. Mauk.  I'd
really like to talk with any one who is researching
this line.
