Everybody in this section will be through gathering cotton by the 15th. Some of our farmers are about through harvesting their corn and pea crops. Mr. J. J. Tison and Mr. Drives, of Roney, have been in this section this week. Mr. S. P. Nicholson and wife have both been on the sick list the past week. Miss Birdie Berry, who has been quite sick in Chattahoochee county, was able to return home this week. Mr. Otis P. Jones, a popular young baggage master of Knoxville, Tenn., will visit the home of his father, Mr. W. H. Jones, in a few days. Mr. Jones has been away a long time and his appearance will cheer many sad hearts and brighten the home of his aged father.
