Most people have killed hogs and the largest known from the Piney woods weighed 572 pounds, killed by Hon. S. Montgomery. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Flournoy were very much surprised at hearing of the death of their little girl which occurred on the 14th of January. The parents have not been living in this neighborhood long, but have made many friends who sympathize with them from the very depths of their hearts. Mr. and Mrs. Flournoy both being very pious possess bright hopes of meeting their loved one again. No one knows the will of the Father. He had some use for this priceless jewel. May the parents ever trust in their Master and meet their babe.
