Sheriffs Sale for January

Georgia, Marion County

Will be sold before the courthouse door in the town of Buena Vista, said county,
between the legal hours of sale on the first Tuesday in January next the
following described property to-wit: One bay mare mule named Sal.  Levied on as
the property of Dennis Calahan to satisfy one distress warrant for rent in favor
of Mrs. Sue L. McLaughlin and one mortgage fi fa in favor of W.T. Hunt vs.
Dennis Calahan.

Also at the same time and place will be sold the following described property
to-wit: Lots Nos. twenty-one (21) and twenty-two (22) in the town of Buena
Vista, said county, in block A in said town of Buena Vista upon which now stands
the Planters Warehouse and store rooms formerly occupied by J.W. Roberts at the
date of mortgage.  Also lot of land No. (88) in the 4th district of said county,
said to contain 100 acres, more or less.  Levied on as the property of J.W.
Roberts to satisfy one mortgage fi favor in favor of Baldwin & Co. vs. J.W.
Roberts.

Also at the same time and place the following described property to-wit: Lot of
land number one hundred and eighty-eight (188) in thirty-first (31) district of
Marion County containing 202 ½ acres, more or less.  Levied on as the property
of A.P. Cranford to satisfy one superior court fi fa in favor of C. Lawson
Kelson & Co. vs. A.P. Cranford.  Property pointed out by plaintiff’s attorney.

Guardian’s Sale

By virtue of an order of the court of ordinary of Marion County, I will sell
before the courthouse in Buena Vista said county, on the first Tuesday in
February next, for cash lot of land No. two hundred and eight (208) and No. one
hundred and sixty (160) all in 4th district of said county for the payment of
debts of my ward.
