Sheriff’s Sales for January

GEORGIA - MARION COUNTY

Will be sold before the court house door in the town of Buena Vista, said
county, on the first Tuesday in January, 1895, between the legal hours of sale,
the following described property to-wit:

Lot of land No 94 in the 31st district of said county and state.  Levied on as
the property of G O Gill and J L Gill, executors of Jack M. Gill, deceased, to
satisfy one superior court fi fa issued from the superior court of Stewart
county in favor of C A Ethridge surviving partner, etc., vs R P Gill and J P
Gill, J L Gill and G O Gill, executors of Jack M Gill, desceased: Property
pointed out by J H Lumpkin, plaintiff’s attorney.

Also at the same time and place the following described property to-wit: One
store house and lot on the south side of public square in the town of Buena
Vista, bounded as follows: On east by Tom Harvey residence on west and south by
Stevens hotel lot now occupied by Reuben Brown.  Levied on as the property of
John P Butt, executor of Edgar M Butt to satisfy one fi fa issued from Sumter
Co. court in favor of J H Lumpkin for use of Freddie B Shipp vs John P Butt,
executor of Edgar M Butt, deceased.  Property pointed out by plaintiff’s attorney.

Also at the same time and place the following described property towit: One
house and lot in the town of Buena Vista, bounded on north and west by Savannah
& Western railroad, on south by road leading from Buena Vista to Ellaville and
east by lot of Holloway, said lot containing   acre more or less, being lot
where Jacob Donoway now resides.  Levied on as the property of Jacob Donoway to
satisfy one justice court fi fa in favor of L W Wall vs Jacob Donoway.  Property
pointed out by plaintiff’s attorney.

Also at the same time and place the following described property to-wit: One
house and lot in the town of Buena Vista, said county, bounded as follows: On
south by Third avenue, on west by lands of Mrs. S M Webb, on north by lot of Mrs
E M Tharpe and on east by lot of Mrs E M Adkins.  Also house and lot bounded as
follows: On south by Fifth avenue, on west by Baker street, on north by Fourth
avenue and on east by lots of Home Builders, Mrs. E M Adkins and M Hair.  Levied
on as the property of Malinda Butt to satisfy one county court fi fa in favor of
Clements & McCall vs Malinda Butt.  Property pointed out by plaintiffs.  Levy
made by L B Story, C B, and turned over to me.
