CHAS. W. PICKARD A trade that for some weeks has been under way between Messrs. P.E. McDaniel and C.W. Pickard for the phones, lines and other equipment of the Reynolds and Butler Telephone Exchanges has been consumated and on yesterday Mr. Pickard formally assumed charge of the entire system. Mr. Pickard is a former Marion county boy and was reared at Tazewell, but most of recent months has resided at Ellaville having owned and operated the telephone lines of that section. He is one of most enterprising and popilar men ever reared in the splendid county of Marion. He is a good business man and a genial gentleman as well.---Butler Herald.
